Well the final event of the European Tour 2016 season finished on Sunday with none of the four main big hitters going into the final event doing any real damage to the top few places in the final Order of Merit, although the biggest movers from the final results of the DP World Tour Championships were the overall winner Matthew Fitzpatrick moving up into 6th place and runner up Tyrrell Hatton jumping up into 4th place thus dropping Rory down a spot to 5th. Therefore the results of the Rolex Bonus Pool for the end of season Order of Merit positions are as follows - 

1st - Henrik Stenson with € 1,250,000.00 
2nd - Danny Willett with € 750,000.00 
3rd - Alex Noren with € 600,000.00 
4th - Tyrrell Hatton with € 500,000.00 
5th - Rory McIlroy with € 400,000.00 
6th - Matthew Fitzpatrick with € 350,000.00 

This week sees the World Cup of golf taking place at Kingston Heath Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia with Chris Wood and Andy Sullivan representing England.

As each week goes by new winter clothing keeps arriving, over the past couple of days the Callaway range is now in and on display. This includes Half Sleeve Wind Tops and 1/4 Zip Wind Jackets plus Waterproof Jackets & trousers, so pop on into the Pro Shop and try on your size. 

On Tuesday in the clubhouse the Ladies Section enjoyed a display of Ladies Hackett and SunIce clothing for the 2017 season, thanks go to my Area Sales Rep, Geoff Pullen for laying on the event.

Course News

Sadly over the past few days the course has suffered with a fair amount of heavy rain, but Simon and the team have been working hard to keep the course as playable as possible. Please look at the Golf Club Facebook Page to keep up to date with daily news on course conditions this time of year because conditions can change so quickly this time of year.
