Hello golfers, I hope you are all well, it's been another week for changeable weather, thus causing issues with Club Fixtures. Unfortunately it's that time of the year, but when we do have the course open, just remember to wrap up warm and take care on the slopping areas around the course - it’s still very wet under foot! Meanwhile, on the other side of the world while the Sony Open was being played in Hawaii, some bright spark who worked for the Hawaii Emergency Agency accidentally sent out a broadcast message that a " Ballistic missile threat inbound to Hawaii, please seek immediate shelter, this is not a drill ". This caused about 15 minutes of panic before it was found to be a false alarm, I'm sure that person has now been shipped off to the darkest depths of Alaska for the rest of his working life… Oh well, at least all we get in Cornwall is another storm inbound. This one’s called Fionn and is due within the next 24 hours! |
