A quick turnaround
Over the past week, golf club member, Stuart Bearhop came along for a fitting. By the time his 45-minute appointment ended we found his Swing DNA and then matched the shaft to his selection of head. With this achieved, we then found the correct lie angle and length along with grip size and choice. The fitting took place last Tuesday afternoon and on Friday lunchtime the clubs had arrived for collection - not too bad for service! So, four days after the fitting Stuart was able to get out on the course with his new sticks. If you are interested in seeing how the latest equipment can benefit you then get in touch. Call 01326 311262 or click here to book your fitting today.

May the 4th be with you
Well, another month has gone by, we are now into May, with Star Wars Day approaching us this Friday – (May the 4th be with you!), it’s time to sort out your equipment for this golfing season. So, for May we are having a Spring Special on re-gripping.
- 7 regrips pay for 6
- 13 regrips pay for 10 - (whole stocks last)
If your grips look like this, then your golf swing will be hindered, because you end up gripping tighter which creates upper body tension and therefore affects the way you swing the club.
Speak to a member of team in the Shop to take up this offer. |

How does a FREE custom fitting and FREE lesson sound?
It's so important for golfers of all abilities - particularly amateurs, who have far more to gain - to get custom fitted, as opposed to leaving it to chance, like you'd be doing if you bought standard spec clubs straight off the shelf. You really have nothing to lose. We will help you to get the most out of any new equipment through a thorough custom fitting process before you buy, followed by a lesson to see you on your way. Come and speak to us in-store if you're interested, but remember this offer is only available until Sunday, 1 July. This offer runs for COBRA and Mizuno equipment.
To book your FREE Lesson and FREE custom fitting session, call the Pro Shop on 01326 311 262. |

Competition results
Last weekend was a busy time both at Falmouth and around the County for our members. On Saturday the Club held the Percy Gilbert Trophy and the Battershill Knockout Qualifier. The double up on the competitions was caused by the postponement of the Percy Gilbert earlier in the year due to weather conditions. With 72 members battling it out over the links, the winner of the Percy Gilbert Trophy and top qualifier was Roger Scorse with a nett 66 and winning by four shots.
Then on Sunday our B Team tried to qualify for the County Championships at West Cornwall in May. Sadly, it didn’t quite happen for them and they were defeated by a strong Looe GC side by 2.5 to 0.5 points.
