Good morning to you With Lockdown 2.0 now ending on the 2nd December, golf will be back for you all and we hope that the weather plays ball. Many bookings have already been placed onto the system for Wednesday, but with the car park being out of use for that day, please cancel any tee times you may not be able to use if you can’t get dropped off. The Pro Shop will be back open from 8.00am through to 4.00pm each day, unless the weather and course conditions change things, you only have just over 3 weeks till what will be a very different Xmas. But if you need anything we will be there for you and we are certainly looking forward to seeing everyone back and playing some golf. Golf Comp. - Pro’s Coloured Ball Team Stableford Once again this is very much due to confirmation from the Government on what guidelines we are to be running under. But if all is ok, the competition will run as follows Date of the event - Saturday 5th December & Team of 3 Gents Tee Times - 8.32am to 9.44am and 11.04am to 12.32pm - Peter will have these up on the Online Competition Booking System from today or tomorrow. Tees of the Day - Yellow and Entry Fee of £5.00 which includes a 2’s Competition - CASH ONLY payable in the Pro Shop - all prizes will be given out in Pro Shop Gift Vouchers and Golf Balls for the 2’s comp. Cards - One card per team and to be returned to the Pro Shop after play Competition Rules - Each group should have a coloured ball and this will alternate on each hole, the player having the coloured ball will score double stableford points on that hole. But once the coloured ball is lost you will not receive double points from then on, but may continue to score stableford points as standard. So the longer you keep the coloured ball in play the higher your team score should be. Player A - Hole 1 coloured ball in play / Player B - Hole 2 coloured ball in play / Player C - Hole 3 coloured ball in play / Player A - Hole 4 coloured ball in play and so on, unless you lose the ball, so make sure Player A doesn’t hit a fade or a slice up the 1st in case your ball ends up stuck in the trees. We look forward to seeing you in the final few weeks of what has been a very strange year, I think we will be all glad to see the back of 2020 and look forward to hopefully a slightly better 2021, once a few additional things are sorted out. Thanks Nick
